How is MDF Produced?
MDF levhaların yaklaşık %90’ını odun oluşturur. Kullanım alanlarında istenen özelliklerin karşılanabilmesi için sert ve yumuşak ağaçların belirli bir oranda karışımlarının çeşitli işlemlerden geçmesi sonrası elde edilen odun parçaları, yoğun buhar verilerek özel bıçaklar sayesinde liflerine ayrıştırılır. Daha sonra bu liflerin birbirine tutunmasını sağlayacak özel yapıştırıcılar ve sertleştiriciler lif ile karıştırılır. Karışım, sıcak hava ile istenilen rutubet değerine kadar kurutulur. Kurutulan lifler, homojen şekilde üretilmek istenen ürünün özelliğine bağlı olarak serilir. Bu işlem sonrasında ilk presleme işlemiyle kabataslak hatları verilen levha, ikinci presleme ile uygun sıcaklık ve basınca tabi tutularak liflerin birbirine iyice yapışması sağlanır. Son aşamada presten çıkan levhalar soğumaya bırakılır. Belirlenen soğuma süresini tamamlanmasının ardından istenilen kalınlığa ve pürüzsüz yüzeye sahip olmaları için zımpara işlemine tabi tutularak son kullanıma hazır hale getirilir
